- How often do you offer a new exhibit?
Sun Valley Museum of Art is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. Just 5% of all museums in the US (including four other museums in Idaho) earn AAM accreditation. We are able to change our space five to six times a year and offer new art exhibitions by nationally and internationally-known artists. SMVoA exhibitions often correspond with our BIG IDEA projects.
- Do you offer guided tours?
Yes, we offer FREE guided evening tours led by SVMoA's curatorial staff during an informal and informative tour of our visual arts exhibitions...and enjoy a glass of wine while you join in the conversation.

- Do you offer Student Exhibition Tours?
Yes, SVMoA offers interactive exhibition tours for students of all ages. Visit our Student Exhibition Tour page for more information and/or complete our school tour request form.
- Do you offer Group Tours?
Yes, we are happy to schedule private tours for individuals, families or groups. Please contact us for more details at 208.726.9491.
- Can I come in-between tours and visit?
Of course. SVMoA is open Mon–Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm in February, March, July and August. We welcome visitors of all ages and encourage you to explore the art on your own time.
- Can I bring food and drink in The Museum?
No, food or drink is not allowed in The Museum, but there are plenty of options nearby and within walking distance. For more information on local dining establishments please visit visitsunvalley.com.
- Can I photograph or record any of the exhibits?
Yes, SVMoA allows you to take photos and video of our exhibits. On occasion there will be an exception, but we will notify you of the change.

- Is the art available for purchase?
Yes, on occasion art is available for purchase. Please inquire at the front desk for details if interested.
- What is Gallery Walk?
SVMoA is associated with member galleries of the Sun Valley Gallery Association and participated in the scheduled Gallery Walks. The Museum will remain open for visitors from 5–7pm on Gallery Walk evenings.
Gallery Walk provides visitors and local residents the opportunity to view new exhibitions of painting, photography, glass, sculpture, video and installation art throughout the city of Ketchum. The walks are free and a great way to explore town.

- Can I or my children touch the art?
No. Please talk with your children about the importance of not touching and keeping a safe distance from the artwork. Leaning on cases, pedestals and walls is not safe or allowed.
- Do you offer anything else to enhance the experience?
Yes, feel free to pick up a Young Visitors Guide (available at The Museum front desk) to guide you through the exhibition.
- What is the Art Lab
The Museum's Art Lab provides opportunities for adults and children to connect to art and the BIG IDEA through hands-on experiences and play. Art Labe activities change to correspond with each exhibition. All ages are welcome.

Liberty Theatre
Company of Fools’ home base is the historic Liberty Theatre at 110 North Main Street in the heart of Hailey, Idaho just 12 miles south of Sun Valley. Free on-street parking is available. Main Street, Carbonate or Bullion are usually the best.

- Where is the location of the Liberty Theatre box office?
Box office is located at the front entrance of the Liberty Theatre and is accessible from the sidewalk.
- Are there dining options you can recommend?
There are many restaurants in downtown Hailey within a 5 minute walk. For more information on local dining establishments please visit haileyidaho.org.
- How do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets will be held at Will Call at the box office of the Liberty Theatreand may be picked up during Theatre hours from 10am-4pm Monday through Friday. If you are unable to pick up your tickets in advance, they will be at will call at the venue on the day of the event one hour before showtime.
- Is there parking at the Liberty Theatre?
Yes, street parking is available on both sides of Main Street near the Theatre. You may also park on the side streets directly north and south of the Theatre (Carbonate Street and Bullion Street).
All street parking in Hailey is free.
- What are SVMoA membership rates?

FIRST WEDNESDAY / PAY WHAT YOU FEEL PREVIEW
Join us for the first performance of a play and literally pay what you’d like. Tickets go on sale at the Liberty Theatre box office one hour before the performance. There are no reserved seats; simply buy your ticket, find a seat and enjoy the show. If you’d prefer to reserve your seats, you may also purchase your tickets at full price for this performance.
FIRST THURSDAY / THROWBACK THURSDAY PREVIEW ($24 tickets)
All tickets on these dates are discounted to $24 in honor of COF’s 24th season.
FIRST SATURDAY / EDUCATOR NIGHT & DATE NIGHT
$15 tickets are available on these dates to currently employed educators and school administrators. Tickets may be purchased in advance. Limit two tickets per person. Date Night offers a pre-show happy ½-hour with discounted wine, beer and bubbly; deals at local partner restaurants; and a chance to win fabulous prizes.

- Does CoF offer a Senior or Student rate?
Yes, CoF offers both a senior (65 and older) and student (18 and under) rate. Look at our upcoming shows for more detail
- Does the Theatre offer assistive listening?
Yes, we offer AudioFetch, an assistive listening application for smartphone users to hear what they are watching at the Liberty Theatre in real-time!
If you desire assistive listening, simply download the free AudioFetch application on your smartphone or tablet. Once you arrive at the Liberty Theatre, you will connect to the designated WiFi, AudioFetchExpress, and log-on using the password Fools2019.
Then, open the AudioFetch app on your phone or tablet, adjust the volume to suit your needs, and enjoy the show! Don’t forget to bring your personal ear buds or headphones. Company of Fools has two smart phones with headphones that can be borrowed during the show.
AudioFetch also works with hearing aids that are paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth, a feature supported by most hearing aid manufacturers.
- New! Sensory Friendly Performances:
Company of Fool was the first theatre in Idaho to join Theatre Development Fund’s Autism-Friendly Perfomance, a wonderful organization that advocates for accessible live performing arts experiences for patrons with a range of spectrum or sensory disorders.

- New! Special Parent & Baby Performances
CoF offers a special Parent & Baby Performance for each mainstage production. Families can attend the show for a donation of their choosing, and babies get in for free!

- Are there diaper changing stations?
Yes, for Parent & Baby Performances we will have a baby changing station available in the restroom, and space will be set aside in the lobby where parents and children can take a break from the production as needed.
- How do I know if the show is appropriate for my child?
We include age recommendations for all our mainstage productions. If you have any questions about content, age-appropriateness or stage effects (such as strobe lights or theatrical fog) that might have a bearing on patron comfort, please contact the box office at 208.578.9122.
- Are children welcome at your performances outside of your special family performances?
We recommend children under age three do not attend any performance as CoF does not allow lap children. All children must have a reserved seat.
- Are there restrooms available?
The Liberty has one female, one male and one gender-neutral restroom that is wheelchair accessible.
- What is the dress code?
We ask that you come wearing clothes and shoes, but beyond that, it’s really up to you!
- Is food and beverage available for purchase at the Liberty Theatre?
Yes, a selection of beverages (bottled water, wine, beer, coffee, and tea) and snacks are available for purchase. No outside food and beverage is allowed.
- Can I visit the Theatre during the day?
Yes, drop-ins are welcome! Come by and see the theatre and maybe catch the team in action.
The Liberty Theatre is fully wheelchair accessible (it has no steps at its entry), has an ADA compliant restroom and the aisles are sloped. Front row and flexible seating is available upon request. Hailey House & Classroom
The Hailey House is open to visitors by appointment and during scheduled events. The Hailey Classroom is open for adult, teen and youth classes and workshops during scheduled programs.

- What type of classes held at the Hailey Classroom?
SVMoA programs a variety of workshops and classes for all ages throughout the year at the Hailey Classroom. Some are a few hours in the evening on a single night, some may be a week long workshop. Categories in all artistic mediums include: Master Classes, Creative Jump-ins, Craft Series Workshops, Open Studios and Teen Workshops and more! - How do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets are available at Will Call at the front desk of the Sun Valley Museum of Artsand may be picked up during Museum hours from 9am–5pm Monday through Friday. If you are unable to pick up your tickets in advance, they will be available at Will Call on site at the venue on the day of the event 1 hour prior to showtime.
For some of our events, “Print at Home” is an option. If you print your tickets at home via the “Barcoded ETicket,” you do not need to pick them up at will call.
- How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can purchased at any time, 24/7, via our online box office. Patrons are always welcome to call us at 208-726-9491 of come see us at the Box Office to purchase tickets directly. We are happy to help!

- What events does SVMoA host outside The Museum?
We host a variety of events from concerts, to featured speakers, film screenings, and classes and workshops at other facilities in Sun Valley, Ketchum and Hailey. Be sure to check out the location details for each event offered.
- What happens if the event sells out?
If an event sells out we will create a wait list. Please contact us at 208-726-9491 for more details.
- What time should I arrive?
Doors open thirty minutes before showtime.
- Can I get a refund or exchange for my tickets if I can’t make it to the show?
All event tickets offered through The Museum are not exchangeable or refundable. If you cannot use your tickets, you may give them to a friend or return them to SVMoA prior to the show for a tax-deductible contribution equal to the price you paid for the tickets (excluding ticketing fees, which are not tax deductible). - What if the show is cancelled or postponed?
For reasons beyond our control (e.g., weather, artist scheduling, illness), shows may be canceled or postponed. If this occurs, we will contact ticket holders via email and post announcements on our website and Facebook page to alert patrons of any changes and the solution. - Can I bring my pet?
No, pets are not allowed at any of SVMoA's events. The Museum does allow service animals. Please contact the Box Office at 208.726.9491 for more information.
- Can I take photos or record the event?
No, SVMoA does not allow any recording of musicians or performers at any events. By purchasing a ticket to one of our events, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, which includes a Photo Participation & Waiver Release.
Professional photographers must contact SVMoA in advance to receive permission to take photos at our concerts.
- Behavioral Expectations & Guidelines
Be mindful of all guests attending—we ask that you do not bring outside alcohol. Respect your fellow guests by not smoking or talking during performances. We do not permit cell phone use. No weapons are allowed in any of our venues.
Patrons who are disruptive, disrespectful or inebriated before, during or after a performance will be asked to leave the venue and will not receive a refund.

- Do I need a ticket for my child?
We do not allow babes in arms for events, and children who do attend must have their own purchased seat.
