SVMoA Working with the Schools

We believe the arts are essential.

A fundamental part of Sun Valley Museum of Art's mission is to work in partnership with local schools to inspire students’ curiosity and develop their skills in improvisation, self-expression and critical thinking. SVMoA's K–12 Arts Education Programs develop and strengthen these fundamental life skills helping to build engaged, curious, inspired and contributing citizens and communities.

These activities are supported, in part, with funds provided by the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF), the Idaho Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Art.

All of our members, donors and our annual Wine Auction participants help provide support for our educational programs, all of which are offered free or at a very low cost to students.
