Coinciding with the 2025 World Cup Alpine Championships in Sun Valley, Snow Show: Winter Now explores the past, present, and future of winter and snow sport through the photographic and video work of six contemporary artists. The exhibition invites viewers to consider the ways that we are experiencing winter’s future now, from the impacts of climate change to a world of winter sport that embraces diversity.
The exhibition includes artwork by three nationally known, Los Angeles-based artists (Catherine Opie, Rob Reynolds, and Mungo Thomson) in addition to two new bodies of work created with support from SVMoA by artists Sofía Jaramillo and Ryan Bonilla.
