Join Sofía Jaramillo, Terumi Murao, and staff from the Community Library for a conversation on the way that Jaramillo found inspiration in the Library’s archives, and the historic artifacts the Library and Wood River Museum of History and Culture made available for use in her project.
Also, part of the conversation is Terumi Murao, a stylist, model, and athlete who worked on A New Winter with Sofía. Terumi loves adventuring outdoors (backcountry skiing, rock climbing, surfing), and she's passionate about building community around these sports and increasing access to all people. She volunteers to help manage corporate partnerships, grant writing, and surf mentoring for Laru Beya Collective, a surf nonprofit that provides free surfing and water safety education to underrepresented youth in NYC.
