A drop-in Open Studio focused on watercolor painting and a chance to learn some tips and tricks from Jim Caldwell. No prior experience necessary.

Though not an instructed class, Jim will be on hand to share some of his watercolor skills.

All materials and supplies will be provided.

Age & ability: 12+ years old; beginners welcome!

This open studio takes place Thu, Aug 8, from 1:30–3:30pm.

About the Instructor

Jim Caldwell graduated from Williams College in 1964 as an Art Major and spent the next year in Paris studying printing and etching at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. In 1969, he received his Master of Architecture Degree from the Yale School of Architecture. Jim has had over 45 one-man shows, and his paintings are represented in more than 450 collections worldwide. Though he has spent most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jim’s Sun Valley connections go back to the 1950s. This will be the fourth class he has taught in Sun Valley.
