SUMMER CONCERT: Twisted Pine

Tuesday, June 15, 2021 - 7:00 PM

Kicking off the Sun Valley Museum of Art’s 50th year is the up and coming band, Twisted Pine. Featuring an upbeat, poppy vibe with virtuosic solos and tight harmonies (all of the musicians sing, too!), Twisted Pine includes Chris Sartori on bass, Anh Phung on flute, Kathleen Parks on fiddle and lead vocals, and Dan Bui on mandolin. This group is not your usual bluegrass or string band– but that is where they shine. As they say themselves, “Our bluegrass is jazzy, our indie-folk is poppy, our grooves our funky. We’re influenced by bands like Lake Street Dive, Crooked Still, the Flecktones and the Wood Brothers.”

The concert will be held on the lawn at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Seating will be in pods of 2, 4 or 8. Tickets will not be sold individually. Blankets, low-backed chairs and picnics (no outside alcohol) are allowed. No pets and no early set up, please.
