Join SVMoA and The Hunger Coalition for a special hands-on t’anta wawa breadmaking workshop led by Leo Padilla and Rosmery Serva Boyle in preparation for our Día de los Muertos celebration. T’anta wawa, Quechua for “bread baby,” is a traditional Andean bread made in Peru and other parts of the Andes to honor loved ones who have passed. Participants will learn about this tradition while shaping and decorating their own t’anta wawa and celebrating memory, family, and community. Come bake with us and help prepare for the following day’s community celebration!
