Explore intaglio printing, a process where an image is scratched into a plate with a pointed tool. Add to your prints using chine colle (a collage process). Create several prints to then make a handmade hardcover book.
Leave the workshop with drypoint plates you can use in future printmaking projects and a one-of-a-kind art book.
All supplies for the workshop will be provided, although students are welcome to bring images as sources of inspiration or collage materials want to work with. Please bring a lunch or snacks to the workshop.
Age & Ability: 16+, beginners welcome!
This 2-day workshop will take place from 10am-2pm, Sat. June 7th and Sun. June 8th at The Hailey Classroom.
