TEEN WORKSHOP: Building Your Portfolio

with Brie Schettle & Benjamin Hunt (for ages 15–18)

Monday, July 24, 2023 - 10:00 AM

Have a collection of personal artwork and don’t know what to do with it? Thinking about applying to art school and need to organize your work? Join artists Brie Schettle and Benjamin Hunt to learn how to build an artist portfolio and develop application materials for professional practices. This workshop is an introduction to writing artist statements, photographing artwork, and organizing art to share in a portfolio. Participants are welcome to bring in-progress artwork for feedback. “Building Your Portfolio” is a great opportunity to prepare materials for both college applications and professional opportunities in the arts!

Age & Ability: 15-18 years (rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates), all levels, beginners welcome!

This workshop takes place Mon & Tue, July 24 & 25 from 10am–1pm.
