For the 9th consecutive year, the Sun Valley Museum of Art and the Magic Lantern Cinemas present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films. With all three categories offered—Live Action, Animated, and Documentary—this is your annual chance to predict the winners. A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts. The Academy Awards take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024.


This film screening takes place at the Magic Lantern Cinemas, Ketchum at 4pm.

DOCUMENTARY SHORTS (Running time: 141 minutes)

Rated PG/PG-13. Topics include aging, friendship, economic inequality, Taiwanese independence, and book bans. Probably the most uplifting of the three programs this year!
