(SESSION 1) EVENING EXHIBITION TOUR: Gardens

Collaborations with Nature

Thursday, June 23, 2022 - 4:30 PM

Enjoy refreshments as you tour the exhibition with The Museum’s curators.

Ketchum—the home of Sun Valley Museum of Art—is a town surrounded by vast areas of wilderness. This BIG IDEA project considers natural spaces that are in many ways the inverse of wilderness: gardens, where people collaborate with nature in order to shape or transform it in some way. Gardens are also places that transform those who experience them, whether as gardener or visitor. Artists Ana María Hernando, Sarah Jones. Katy Stone and Jil Weinstock respond to these ideas about gardens in work that includes large-scale indoor and outdoor installation projects.

This event takes place Thu, June 23, from 4:30–5:20pm.
