Explore the genre of landscape photography. Learn about camera settings, lens choices and the use of natural light to compose dynamic landscape photographs. The two-day workshop will consist of classroom instruction and a location shoot on the first day, where participants will have the opportunity to practice their photography skills and capture the landscape at the magic hour of sunset. On the second day, meet in the Hailey classroom to learn the basics of editing and engage in the post-production process.
No prior experience necessary for this workshop.
Age and ability: 16+ years, all leverls and beginners welcome.
This 2-session workshop takes place Sat, June 14, 2–9pm and Sun, Jun 15, 11am–2pm at the Hailey Classroom.
About the instructor:
Oliver Guy is a part time adventure and landscape photographer based out of Sun Valley, Idaho. Having grown up surrounded by nature, he quickly developed a passion for the outdoors and began to capture the beauty of the natural world in which we live. Guy’s connection with nature drives his photography, leading him to explore landscapes and travel near and far.
