Learn to make a unique handmade journal perfect for writing or lettering in. In this class students will learn three different methods to hand decorate paper that will then be used to construct a hardcover drumleaf book of their very own. No bookmaking experience is necessary as we will cover basic bookbinding techniques such as finding paper grain, folding paper, joining paper and covering boards. Students will be provided with clear instruction and handouts. This is a great class if you are new to bookmaking!
This workshop takes place Wed, July 29 from 10am-4pm.
