With a few colors you can create glorious watercolor paintings, both realistic and abstract. Learn about your materials. Explore the color wheel, hue, value and intensity with your brush. Try out washes, glazes and other techniques. We will draw inspiration from imagination and from your photographs to create a number of paintings, giving you the confidence to make your own paintings.
This class takes place Mon-Fri, July 6-10, from 9am-4pm daily.
Medium: Painting
Age and ability: 16 yrs. and above, beginners welcome.
About the instructor:
Susan was born and raised in England and Yemen and now makes Sun Valley her permanent home. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. Her award winning work has been in five national galleries and in multiple Plein Aire shows. She has taught painting workshops throughout her adult life.
