Sun Valley Museum of Art is thrilled to present, Carole King Tapestry: Live at Hyde Park, on the big screen at the Sun Valley Pavilion on Thu, Jul 9, 2020 at 7:30pm.

The film celebrates the 45th anniversary of Carole King's masterpiece album, Tapestry, by documenting the spectacular 2016 concert for more than 65,000 fans in Hyde Park, London, England. That show was the first-ever performance of the entire Tapestry album in sequence was Carole’s first concert in England since 1989 and features Carole leading a full band (including rhythm guitarist Danny Kortchmar, who played on the original Tapestry album) through each of the album's 12 songs, plus her favorite compositions from her astonishing songbook.

Guest performers include her daughter, Louise Goffin, who joins her mother on several tracks including Where You Lead, plus the Laurence Olivier Award-winning West End cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Picnics, lowbacked chairs and blankets will be allowed, but reservations must be made in advance. The gates will open at 6:30pm to allow ample time for everyone to get in, find their spot, and enjoy the evening.

Socially Distanced Seating & Safety Precautions:

We’ll have limited number of socially distanced “pods” marked on the lawn. Three sizes will be available: for 2 people, up to 4 people and a few large group spots for up to 10.

Please remember, your group size must be limited to fit into the designated size spot you purchased. The $25/$35 spots are for one or two people. The $50/$60 spots are for up to four people. The $125/$135 spots can accommodate up to 10 people. We do not expect to have any extra spaces, so please don’t come with more people than can fit.

  • This event will be paperless and we’ll check patrons in from a will-call list. You do not need to show your phone or bring a printout of your purchase, we’ll have you on our list.
  • We’ll be wearing masks and will just ask for your name and we’ll confirm your location and point you in the right direction!
  • Attendees must wear a mask upon entry and whenever standing or walking around
  • If you want to sing along, please DO put your mask back on!
  • Picnics are okay, please remove all garbage trash from your site following the film.
  • The portable toilet trailers will be available for attendees’ use, but we'll need to limit how many people are inside them at once.
  • There will be markings at the entrance, bar, and toilet trailers to maintain a 6 foot distance between patrons.
  • Please, be kind and respectful to your friends and neighbors, we want this to be a fun AND safe event for everyone.
  • Gates will open at 6:30pm and the film will start at 7:30pm.
  • Sun Valley Resort will have their paver bar up and running for the film.
  • Please bring blankets and/or low backed chairs for seating and do stay within your marked area.
  • We will not allow people to set up early, since all spots are reserved.
