POSTPONED: ADULT CLASS: Creating Through Crisis—Crafting Your Story In the Time of Pandemic

with Company of Fools artist Chris Carwithen

Monday, November 9, 2020 - 6:00 PM

This workshop is postponed. Rescheduled date to be announced soon!

If you could tell a story about life today, what would you share? The global health crisis has changed us all. Who are you now? Use this time of worldwide disruption to express yourself and connect with others by sharing your personal experience through the art of performance. This two-day workshop will provide a safe space to discover our inner narrative through the exercise of monologue writing and performance.

On day one, participants will learn the building blocks of monologue creation and begin crafting an original monologue. On day two, participants will discuss and workshop their pieces, culminating in the opportunity for each participant to perform their newly created monologue with the class.

Originally scheduled two-day workshop: Mon, Nov 2, from 6–8pm & Nov 9 from 6–9pm at the Liberty Theatre, Hailey.

Cancellation Reimbursement Deadline: Oct 19, 2020

Please bring the following:

  • Note-taking supplies: pencil/paper or a laptop/iPad/etc. You are encouraged to use whatever method will best help you take notes and to begin drafting your monologue.
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in.
  • Mask are required for all workshop participants.
