SOLD OUT! CREATIVE JUMP-IN: Learning to Draw Field Notes in Nature

with Poo Wright-Pulliam

A non-intimidating class for beginners and up. Upon registering, participants will receive an online tutorial from the instructor on how to draw bird and wildflower anatomy. On Sunday, we will meet at the Hailey Classroom and drive in our own cars to beautiful Centennial Marsh to the sketch the amazing birds and flowers that nest and bloom there.

Please bring a small sketchbook, pencil and colored pencils for both classes. On Sunday you’ll also need to bring lunch, water, a hat and sunscreen. A stool and binoculars will also help if you have them.

Nature and wildlife are at the center of Poo Wright-Pulliam’s life. Therefore her art is inspired by nature, especially birds, which are her passion. Her mediums are pencil, ink and watercolors. She has won numerous awards for her art and also has been selected to be the Artist-in- Residence for Craters of the Moon National Monument, and City of the Rocks national Reserve.

This class takes place Sat, May 30 (anytime from home!) & Sun, May 31, 10am–3:30pm. On Sunday participants will meet at the Hailey Classroom and drive in own cars to Centennial Marsh.
