SPECIAL EVENT: SVMoA Street Party

With special performance by DJ Jackrabbit Slim

Friday, July 3, 2026 - 5:00 PM

Street's closed and we're having a big party!

Join us for our annual celebration of summer and art! We will host the opening of our summer exhibition Circa 1971: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation.

Enjoy live music, drinks, food trucks, and arts and crafts for all ages.

Circa 1971: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation will be on view July 3 through October 17, 2026. Featuring exceptional prints and limited editions from the years 1970 to 1972, the exhibition captures the dynamic crosscurrents that defined American art at a pivotal cultural moment, from the bold graphics of Pop Art and the perceptual experiments of Op Art to the austere elegance of Minimalism, the exacting detail of Photorealism, and the intellectual rigor of Conceptual Art. The exhibition also celebrates the Museum’s 55th anniversary by returning to the artistic landscape of its founding.

DJ Jackrabbit Slim will keep the street party moving with a lively mix of 1970s hits—come dressed to match the vibe.

The SVMoA Street Party is a joyful celebration of community and art, so please join us!
