SPECIAL EVENT/PERFORMING ARTS/CONCERT: IN A LANDSCAPE

Classical Music in the Wild™

Sunday, September 11, 2022 - 4:30 PM

Founded in 2016 by classical pianist Hunter Noack, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ is an outdoor concert series where America’s most stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. A 9-foot Steinway grand piano will move into the natural setting of the new Simons-Bauer preserve and sound will be transmitted via wireless headphones provided to ticketed concertgoers. No longer confined to seats, the audience is free to explore the landscape in this approachable and immersive classical music experience with pianist. No chairs are provided, guests may bring blankets, chairs and picnic.

IN A LANDSCAPE will take place in Hailey at the Wood River Land Trust’s new Simons-Bauer Preserve directly west of Lions Park. This gorgeous meadow location is close to Hailey and will provide a fantastic view of both the piano and the fall colors.
