Support ambitious projects in and outside SVMoA


After 25 years of service to arts and culture in the Wood River Valley, Kristin Poole will retire from her position as Artistic Director and Interim Executive Director as of June 1, 2022 to pursue work as an independent curator and arts consultant. In her honor, SVMoA is establishing the Kristin Poole Fund for Program Innovation: A fund to support ambitious projects that expand the reach of SVMoA, creating new opportunities for important artists, attracting non-traditional audiences to the Museum or introducing art about place—outside the space of the museum.

The purpose of this fund it to support:

Artist, audience and access advancement
Risk-taking
Art in non-traditional spaces or with non-traditional approaches
Ideas about place
Connections with new audiences
Cross-disciplinary work

Simply put, “planned giving” refers to any gift to a nonprofit that involves financial or estate planning.

The Sun Valley Museum of Art Legacy Society


The SVMoA LEGACY SOCIETY recognizes members and friends who demonstrate their deep commitment to Sun Valley Museum of Art by making a planned gift or including SVMoA in their estate plans. Legacy Society members receive invitations to select events and programs as lifetime Guardian members. They are also acknowledged, with permission, in SVMoA publications. Legacy Society members have the satisfaction of knowing they are providing long-term support of the Museum. Everyone at Sun Valley Museum of Art is deeply grateful to our Legacy Society members who allow us to better plan for the future and reach ever-increasing levels of accomplishment.
