After six years in Honolulu, two in San Francisco and plenty of globetrotting throughout, Allison returned to the mountain town where she was raised. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and minors in history and Korean. During her year abroad in Seoul, South Korea, Allison completed an internship at the Korea Furniture Museum and has been passionate about curatorial work and the space museums create for art and community engagement ever since. She is delighted to join the team at SVMoA and looks forward to exploring the intersection of art and community through rich dialogue with visitors of all ages.
