The Color of Sound explores the\nrelation ship between art and synesthetic experience. It features artwork by\nartis ts who are synesthetes—who experience synesthesia\, the phenomenon by\nw hich certain people experience one sense through another – as well as\nw ork by artists who\, though not synesthetes\, seek to create synesthetic\n experiences for viewers.
