 l explore the complexity of the human body. During this portrait\nworkshop
  participants will simplify the basic structures of the head and\nneck to 
 develop an understanding of shape\, proportion\, facial features\, and\nth
 eir contribution to gesture and expression. The start of the workshop\nwil
 l be dedicated to technical modeling instruction\, and as it progresses\,\
 nstudents will incorporate self-expression and creativity. On completion o

  her experience as the <strong>2021 Sawtooth National Recreation Area\nArt
 ist-in-Residence</strong>. Taylor\, who works in bronze\, aluminum and\nst
 ainless steel\, will discuss the process she uses to make her large-scale\
 nsculptures\, beginning with hikes to cast molds of elements in the\nlands
 cape\, later using those molds to create the textures of sculptures\nrepre
 senting a diversity of zoomorphic creatures. Taylor has worked in a\nwide 
 range of ecosystems around the globe\, including the Arctic\, and uses\nhe
 r work as a means for educating viewers on the interconnectedness of the\n
 natural world and the importance of conservation. She has created\ncommiss
 ioned sculptures for numerous public and private collections\nthroughout t
