CRAFT SERIES WORKSHOP: Power of the Press—Copper Etching

with Marne Elmore

The power of a printmaking press involves hundreds of pounds of pressure. Join us while we take advantage of such a powerful tool, to create works of art. What are the plates that you will print from? Original intaglio plates made of copper and etched by you!

This Workshop takes place Thu, July 30, from 6-9pm.

Medium: Printmaking

Age and ability: 16 yrs. and above, beginners welcome


About the Instructor:

Artist and printmaker Marne Elmore grew up in the Wood River Valley, and currently lives and works in Boise, where she enjoys biking, reading, cooking, and of course, making art. She enjoys the wide spectrum of variability and repeatability that printmaking can bring to an art practice, and she focuses on relief printmaking, painting, and drawing.
