Operations Manager

The Operations Manager contributes to the overall success of SVMoA by effectively managing all operational facets of the organization. Responsibilities include human resources and staff support, facilities and equipment management, basic IT support, and general maintenance. The Operations Manager also oversees the front office and manages front desk employees.

2021/2022 High School Internship

Sun Valley Museum of Art seeks interns for a new High School Internship program during the 2021/2022 school year. High School Internships are an opportunity for students to learn about and participate in the operations of a multidisciplinary arts institution with a focus on visual arts, education and humanities, and performing arts. Interns will gain job experience, benefit from mentorship, develop communication skills and build connections within the Wood River Valley community.

Students in grades 10–12 at any Blaine County high school are invited to apply for 3 internship positions offered during 2 sessions (interns will only participate in 1 session):

  • SESSION 1: Oct 15–Dec 15, 2021
  • SESSION 2: Feb 15–Apr 15, 2022

Interns will be paid $15/hour for their participation and should commit to 16–24 hours of time over the course of the internship, including weekly group meetings.


Details of Program:
  • Applications for the Oct 15–Dec 15, 2021 session are due Friday, October 8, 2021, by 5pm Mountain Time.
    The 3 selected interns will be notified by Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
  • Applications for the Feb 15–Apr 15, 2022 session are due Monday, January 31, 2022, by 5pm Mountain Time.
    The 3 selected interns will be notified by Friday, February 4, 2022.
